Earlier this year, we received a generous grant from MassPort to enhance our community curriculum. Their support enables the Tugboats to experience field trips around Boston as well as enjoy visiting educators on our own classroom.

Yesterday, we debuted our first Artist in Residence, Elaine Thap! A student at Mass Art, Elaine will join us for 6 Tuesdays of new and innovative art projects. For our first project, Elaine taught us how sculptors adhere different materials together with beautiful results. Using Nutella and Fluff as glue, we made delicious, beautiful sculptures with pretzels, celery, Craisins, and oyster crackers!
